Physical and Health Education Definition of Anxiety

-Feeling almost alike depression except the feeling is more towards nervousness.

-A feeling of worry.

-Symptoms such as: nervous, sweating, trembling, an increase of heart rate, worry and many other more.

What causes anxiety

1)Surroundings for example stress from school, work, relationship, abused and etc…

2)Medical factors such as: medical illness, lack of oxygen.

3)An upcoming exams.

4)Scared of something.

5)A feeling of guilt.

Ways to prevent anxiety

The reason that your having anxiety because you had too much stress so what you should do is to relax listen to soft and calm music to calm yourself or you might have to avoid thinking too much (exams etc..),controls your breathing or even talk to the person that you trusted for example (friends, family/parents, teacher.)

Relation to sport

-When you feel the pressure you start to worry about what people would think.

-You worry that your performance isn’t good enough.

Example Issue or concern Solution
1 She is slightly overweight in school, got bullied , lost the weight is afraid to put on weight Be more confident, don’t be scare of put on weight.
2 Her modeling job has pressured Sally to stay very thin. Have a more balanced diet to stay healthy.
3 She’s very thin. Sally should gain more weight, more balanced diet to help her to gain more energy for exercise.
4 Her social life needs to improve so to help her emotionally. By getting advice and having fun (laughter).
5 6. Overly self canscious. Think positively, don’t be too worry. And don’t think that you are fat.
